The Jesus Lizard Cancel 2025 Tour Due To “Serious Health Incident”

The post-hardcore band The Jesus Lizard has announced the cancellation of the remaining dates on their 2025 tour in support of their new album, Rack. In a statement shared on social media, the band cited a “serious health incident” affecting an unnamed member, leading to the decision based on medical advice. “Upon the advice of medical professionals following a serious health incident affecting one of the band members, it is considered necessary as a precautionary measure,” the statement read. The band expressed their apologies to fans and emphasized that the affected member’s prognosis is excellent, while asking for understanding and support. After breaking up in 2000, The Jesus Lizard reunited in 2008 and again in 2017 for brief tours, playing a handful of shows sporadically since then. No replacement dates for the canceled 2025 tour have been announced at this time. (Pitchfork)
